Abstract
The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools has impacted a range of industries, education included. In legal education, especially in the teaching of academic law writing, AI has both promising advantages as well as notable difficulties. This study looks at AI-enabled tools used in teaching law students academic writing, focusing on its advantages and challenges in addition to ethical implications. The research seeks effective implementation strategies and instructional designs through the thorough literature review and analysis of recent case studies. The study results indicate that while AI has the potential to improve the quality and efficiency of the writing, it raises issues of academic misconduct and dependence. Suggestions are made on how AI tools can be integrated into the teaching of legal writing without compromising professional ethics.
