Abstract

Our contemporary world has experienced fundamental changes in communication methods because of the speedy Internet integration process resulting in new language phenomena. The breakthrough of digital communication technologies led to Internet linguistics becoming an academic field focused on identifying linguistic features of Internet communication across social networks and forum platforms and instant messaging channels. The global interest in Internet linguistics development lacks comprehensive analysis about Uzbek context especially regarding practical examples and native linguistic behavior. The research investigates the historical development along with the fundamental paths of Internet linguistics by examining Uzbek social media communications as practical illustrations. This study examines five principal disciplines of Internet linguistics through social network linguistics and internet discourse analysis and corpus-based internet linguistics and cyberpragmatics and internet sociolinguistics where the examples stem from Uzbek linguistic usage. The research emphasizes how digital literacy together with language learning functions indispensably within virtual environments. This research uses theoretical concepts to analyze Uzbek digital communication thus creating its initial extensive structure of Internet linguistics while connecting universal linguistic principles to native language usage. The research enhances both Internet linguistics' theoretical models as well as its practical national language analysis and lays groundwork for additional academic studies in this field.
